Learning English in an English-speaking country: the “must”!
Learning English has never been easier with Languages & Travel
Does an English language immersion program appeal to you? Whether for academic or professional reasons, or simply out of personal interest? It's no exaggeration to say that English has become an essential language in a wide range of fields: business, IT, tourism, technology, and more. It's practically the Latin of modern times.
Which English language course is right for you?
Twenty years ago, an English language immersion program was limited to English classes at a language school. While classes are still a preferred way to learn English, they are no longer the only way to practice the language of Shakespeare, as they say.
Languages & Travel has not only responded to demand but also aims to innovate and launch new English-speaking destinations and truly unique programs that guarantee genuine English language immersion. Who would have thought a few years ago that you could work on a nature conservation project in English or in Australia, New Zealand, or Canada? Today, it's possible thanks to the numerous partnerships developed by Languages & Travel.
English language immersion programs
- English courses in Bristol , Wimbledon , Chichester …
- Paid job with or without courses
- Au pair stay with English lessons

- Nature projects, whether or not preceded by courses
English courses, English language courses…
Of course, we are not leaving out the English lessonsBut here too, demand has changed dramatically. From a simple language immersion trip to England with English classes in the morning and activities in the afternoon – still a successful formula – it is now possible to undertake a stay with a professor private English lessons (you stay with your private tutor), to follow a English lessons + fashion or design courses, to combine English with a professionally taught sport or one or more cultural activity(ies).
Not to mention English courses for job seekers or an English language immersion program as part of the Language Plan (for young people finishing their final year of secondary school and residing in Wallonia). For this program, each school listed in our offer has a “Language Plan 2021-2022” tab.
Paid job with or without English lessons
Languages & Travel has expanded in Belgium and France thanks to Working Holiday Visa programs. Destinations include Australia , Canada , and New Zealand , combining English courses with a paid job.
While other organizations might quote you over €10,000 for a long stay, we strive to make language immersion accessible to everyone. Our programs combine English classes with paid work , allowing you to finance your stay through your job. And in most of our programs, you're not even required to take English classes.
Au pair stay with English lessons
Most of the au pair stays we offer combine traditional au pair living with English lessons . This is to guarantee your language progress and allow you to meet other young women and men of all nationalities. And with Languages & Travel, you also have the guarantee of on-site contact and support. Unlike websites like Au Pair World, which are proliferating online and offer no protection against scams or even fake host families…
As professionals in organizing English language immersion programs and au pair stays in particular, we would never dare place our own children on such a risky adventure without a safety net or guarantees by booking a family online. In contrast, all our au pair families have been visited and selected by our partners on the ground. That's why we offer this program in Ireland , Canada , and Australia .
Eco-volunteering: a different kind of English language immersion experience
Practice your English in a natural setting by taking a language course in an English-speaking country and participating in one or more environmental projects. How about discovering Australia , Canada, New Zealand, or Costa Rica ? Languages & Travel strongly believes in language immersion combined with eco-volunteer projects where you'll practice English in a "natural" way. You'll discover places, flowers, and animals that even locals have never seen. A unique opportunity to participate in a language course in a different language, whether English or Spanish.
