High-level hockey training camp
England is well known for its top-level academies in various sports. That's why Languages & Travel has partnered with one of the best schools to offer you, in addition to advanced English courses, a hockey camp program (as well as music, dance or other sports, upon request).
Thirty years of experience
The school boasts over thirty years of experience and was founded by Bram van Asselt, a former top-level hockey player, with the aim of developing something unique: professional sports coaching for young people in the UK. Over time, the academy began offering English courses alongside sports coaching, using sport as a catalyst for learning and developing English.
Since its creation in 1988, our partner has provided professional sports coaching to more than 25,000 students . Nowadays, most of the students attending our academy come from abroad and study a combination of professional sports and English.

Your hockey camp program
Languages & Travel offers you an exceptional experience: a hockey internship at a renowned sports academy. This one is located in the West Sussex Located in the heart of the English countryside, yet not far from London or Brighton. The perfect place to experience both worlds!
An ideal environment to develop in your favorite sport
This hockey camp will generally led by former high-level athletes with extensive international and Olympic coaching experience – they are FIH and EHA qualified. Each of them will train small groups of no more than 10 people, divided by skill level, ensuring optimal progress .
All this in a truly international environment , since young players from the best European clubs, including HC Bloemendaal, HTC Uhlenhorst and El Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, come to attend this training camp.
Here's what the program includes:
- 15 hours of English lessons per week – three hours per day, Monday to Friday
- 15 hours of training, games and hockey workshops – three hours a day, Monday to Friday
- Accommodation on campus (prestigious boarding school ) and 3 meals per day
- Evening activities program – for example: a disco night, a “students have got talent” evening, an international evening, etc.
- Access to the “Club house” with tennis table, television, foosball table, etc.
- T-shirt and water bottle
- Program completion report and certificate
- Insurance
For those staying more than a week, two full-day excursions are also organized and included: on Saturday, typically to an amusement park, and on Sunday, a city tour.
Accommodation
Participants are accommodated at Seaford College , a very beautiful and prestigious boarding school in the West Sussex region, not far from Brighton and Gatwick Airport.
Accommodation within the academy
At Seaford College, boys and girls are housed in separate dormitories. Most rooms have 2 to 4 beds per room. Bathrooms are shared.
Facilities
The centers have excellent sports facilities, including large playing fields, a gym, tennis courts, a theatre, music or art studios, a social area, etc. Seaford also has a swimming pool and a golf course.
Meal
The menu offers a mix of English and international dishes. Two hot dishes are always available for lunch and dinner, along with a salad bar. Vegetarians and those with special diets for medical or religious reasons are catered for.
Activities
Alternative activities for your hockey camp
You can also choose not to take English lessons and take more hockey lessons if you wish, or combine hockey with another sport (and in this case, have 30 hours of hockey, or 15 hours of hockey + 15 hours of another combinable sport).

Dates of your next hockey camp
July 5 – August 8, 2026
Stays of 7 days and 6 nights from Sunday (arrival in the afternoon) to Saturday (departure in the morning). Please note that if you stay longer than a week, you will benefit from two full days of excursions during the weekend.
2025 Price
Cost per week: £1830 = €2196 (£1 x €1.20). The price in Euros may be adjusted according to the exchange rate of the pound sterling at the time of booking.
A deposit of €650 is required at the time of booking.
This price includes transfers (arrival at London St Pancras with the Eurostar or London Heathrow or Gatwick) if arrival is on Sunday between 9:00 and 15:00 and if departure is on Saturday between 12:00 and 17:00.

L&T registration fees: € 100
Optional cancellation insurance: 4%.
Transportation to and from the center is not included. Some parents accompany their children to or from the center; this is possible!
