Going on a language course at a Spanish in Buenos Aires or starting your Latin American journey in this city is an excellent way to get your bearings without feeling too out of place.
Indeed, Buenos Aires is a “ European melting pot ” due to the high rate of immigration, particularly from Italy and Spain, that it has experienced in the past. Many elements of these cultures have been blended with its own culture, such as “mate” (Argentinean drink), “asado” (Argentinean barbecue), and cumbia (local music).
This way, you will easily get used to their traditions, without experiencing a greater culture shock than you might in other Latin American countries.
