During your language stay in Malaga, you will take courses at our partner school: the Malaca Institute. Accredited by the Cervantes Institute , it offers a pleasant, welcoming, and focused atmosphere that is ideal for making rapid progress in Spanish. Its teachers, all native Spanish speakers, are also qualified to make your lessons as interesting, engaging, and effective as possible. Considered one of the best language schools in Spain, this mini-campus is located a 15-minute walk from the beach and a 15-minute bus ride from the city center.
Combining fun and study, this campus includes: 25 air-conditioned classrooms (some overlooking the sea and surrounding hills) mostly equipped with television and video, a multimedia center, a library, a language lab, Wi-Fi access throughout the campus, a small cinema, a fully equipped dance studio, a cafeteria, a bar (where you can have a drink with friends or play chess, dominoes, ping-pong, etc.) and a swimming pool with 3 large sunny terraces .

Are you over 16 and interested in taking Spanish lessons in Malaga? This Spanish course program in Malaga offers 20 lessons of 50 minutes each per week (4 lessons per day). If you wish to focus more on improving your speaking skills, you can choose an additional option offering either 24 or 26 lessons per week. Regardless of your level, whether beginner or advanced, all students are welcome to participate in this course program. Lessons are held in air-conditioned classrooms with a maximum of 10 students (average of 7-8), and take place either in the morning (8:30 am to 12:30 pm) or in the afternoon (4 pm to 8 pm).
During the lessons, you will cover several essential aspects of the language, including pronunciation, vocabulary, reading and listening comprehension, grammar, and more. Students will take a placement test on Fridays and will also have the opportunity to take a final exam each Friday. Course materials are included.
Program duration: from 2 to 40 weeks. For the 24 and 26 class per week packages, the minimum duration is 2 weeks and the maximum is 16 weeks.
A super-intensive course program of 30 lessons per week will also be offered to those over 16. This program combines the intensive Spanish course of 20 fifty-minute lessons per week (described above) with 10 additional fifty-minute oral communication lessons in small groups of 6 students. Regardless of your level, whether beginner or advanced, all students are welcome to participate. Classes will be held in air-conditioned classrooms with a maximum of 10 students (average of 7-8), and will typically run from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
During the classes, you will cover the same curriculum as the intensive program, but you will also develop your oral expression skills in greater depth. Students will take a placement test on Friday. A final exam will also be offered on Friday. Course materials are included.
Program duration: from 2 to 16 weeks.
Obtaining your DELE (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) is an essential step if you wish to demonstrate your level of Spanish to future employers. This official diploma will prove your mastery of the language and is therefore an undeniable asset in the job market, both abroad and in your home country.
A DELE exam preparation course is offered to those over 16 years of age. You will have 20 fifty-minute lessons per week, for a minimum of 4 weeks (2 weeks for A2 level). Depending on your level (intermediate to advanced), you will be placed in appropriate classes. Lessons will be held in air-conditioned classrooms with a maximum of 10 students, in the mornings (8:30 am to 12:30 pm).
For the 4-week programs, trained teachers will give you 4 lessons per day (20 per week) to prepare you for the DELE exam (including tips and tricks). If your stay is longer than 4 weeks, you will begin your language course with 20 intensive Spanish lessons per week, culminating in the final 4 weeks before the exam, where you will prepare for the test. All learning materials are included.
The exam takes place during the last week of classes. It can be taken directly at the Malaca Institute, which is an examination center recognized by the Cervantes Institute.
This program is designed for business leaders over 25 who want to improve their Spanish communication skills in typical professional situations. You will attend 30 weekly 50-minute classes, including 20 intensive general Spanish classes and 10 role-playing classes in a professional setting. The required level for this program is B1 to B2. Classes will be held in air-conditioned classrooms with a maximum of 6 participants (to encourage participation) and will run from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
During the 20 intensive Spanish lessons, you will work on your writing, reading and listening comprehension, and speaking skills, as well as your grammar and vocabulary. During the other 10 lessons, you will experience various business situations: self-presentations/product presentations, company descriptions, participation in meetings (note-taking, interruptions, expressing opinions), social situations, trade shows, conferences, market/new product analysis, etc. All learning materials are included.
The duration of this program is very flexible, ranging from a minimum of 1 week to a maximum of 4 weeks.
This program is for young adults aged 16 to 20 who want to combine language classes with activities and outings! You will attend 15 classes of 50 minutes each per week (3 hours of class per day). Regardless of your level, whether beginner or advanced, all students are welcome. Classes will be held in air-conditioned classrooms with a maximum of 10 students, from 4 pm to 7 pm. All learning materials are included.
The summer courses, while similar to the intensive Spanish course, are much more tailored to the interests of young students. They include language classes primarily focused on writing, listening, reading, and speaking, as well as several daytime activities (excursions, beach outings, sports, cooking classes, walks, evening events, etc.). A day trip is also included on weekends. For more information about the activities offered, please see the "Activities" section. A final exam can be taken every two weeks at the school.
The duration of the summer courses is either 2, 4 or 6 weeks.
With this course program, you will attend 22 fifty-minute classes per week, including 20 intensive Spanish lessons and 2 cooking classes, in addition to other activities. Regardless of your level, from beginner to advanced, all students are welcome. The 20 intensive Spanish classes will be held in air-conditioned rooms with a maximum of 10 students, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. All course materials are included.
During the 20 intensive Spanish lessons, you will improve your various Spanish language skills (writing, reading, listening, and speaking). The two cooking classes will teach you how to prepare three-course meals, allowing you to sample typical Andalusian dishes. This blend of Spanish lessons and cooking will also include activities such as a meal with the instructors, a cultural discussion about Spanish food and wine, and a visit to a place connected to this world. This course program offers 25 classes of 50 minutes each per week, including 20 intensive Spanish classes and 5 dance classes. The 20 intensive Spanish classes will be held in air-conditioned rooms with a maximum of 10 participants, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, while the salsa/flamenco classes will take place in the campus dance studio.
During the 20 intensive Spanish lessons, you will improve your various Spanish skills (writing, reading, listening, and speaking). All learning materials are included. The dance classes will teach you a high-energy dance routine that will impress your friends when you get back! The dance studio where you will dance will be fully equipped with air conditioning, a sound system, mirrors, and more.
The duration of the Spanish & salsa/flamenco courses is 1 or 2 weeks.
Specifically, 20 lessons will be dedicated to intensive Spanish language learning. Held in air-conditioned classrooms (maximum 20 people), from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, these lessons will help improve your various Spanish skills (writing, reading, listening, and speaking). All learning materials are included.
In addition, there will be two cooking sessions per week during which you will learn to prepare a three-course meal followed by either lunch or dinner. Throughout the program, you will learn to create typical Spanish three-course menus.
Discover Andalusian cuisine hereSeveral activities are also planned in addition to these class hours. For example, throughout your program you will have the opportunity to participate in a special gastronomy discovery tour, a cultural discussion related to Spanish cuisine (once a week), and even a half-day excursion/tapas outing. You will also be invited to watch a film related to this culinary world (once a week), and you will receive a cookbook and an apron!
Duration of the Spanish and Andalusian cuisine program: 1 or 2 weeks.
The Club Hispánico residence is located right on the school campus (a great way to save time in the morning!), which offers its residents a few advantages: a 24-hour reception (allowing you to come and go as you please), access to the swimming pool, dance studio, etc. Bed linens are changed once a week and cleaning is provided.
A wide range of room types is available, all equipped with a telephone, safe, and private bathroom. You can choose from single rooms (with a balcony), twin or triple rooms (with a refrigerator), executive rooms (with a double bed, private terrace, large bathroom, refrigerator, and TV), and executive studios (with two single beds, a double bed, a large bathroom, air conditioning, a kitchen, and a TV). Please note that only the executive studios have a kitchen. There is no shared kitchen in the residence, but the school has a restaurant/cafeteria where most professors and students eat. Breakfast, half-board, or full-board options are also available (excluding Saturday lunch, dinner, and Sunday lunch). Please contact us for more information.
Would you prefer a complete immersion ? Staying with a host family during your language stay in Malaga will allow you to adopt the Spanish lifestyle, but will also give you the chance to taste delicious typical dishes of the country prepared by your hosts.
In most cases, our host families live within walking distance of the school. If not, public transport will get you there in a maximum of 30 minutes. Some families live in private houses with gardens, others in townhouses, or even apartments, where they will welcome you warmly. You will have either a single room or a twin room.
You will be staying on a half-board basis , which includes breakfast and lunch (which is considered the main course in Spain). It may be possible to arrange with the host family to also include dinner. Please contact us as soon as possible if you have any dietary requirements.
To access this type of accommodation, the minimum stay is 2 weeks.
In addition to your Spanish classes in Malaga, excursions will be organized to the cities of Cordoba, Seville, Granada, and Ronda, as well as a visit to the villages of Nerja and Frigiliana (nicknamed the White Villages) and Casabermeja. You might even encounter the famous donkey taxis ("burro taxi" in Spanish) in Mijas . An excursion to North Africa will also be undertaken to visit Morocco, whose art and culture have influenced Spain for centuries.
Several sporting activities will also be offered by our partner: golf (a rental car will be available for you to access the numerous courses on the Costa del Sol), tennis, jogging (a designated running route is provided), a fitness center, skiing (from December to May), aerobics, and hiking in the mountains. You will also have the opportunity to go kayaking, canyoning, and other activities (at an additional cost).
