For your immersion stay with a private tutor in Malta, Languages & Travel offers various English course packages, combined or not with activities. It is also possible to book our "Lifestyle" package without lessons and with activities only.
Private English lessons in Malta
This course package invites you to take 10*/ 15/ 20/ 25/ 30 private English lessons (60 minutes each) per week. The minimum stay is 1 week.
* The 10-hour/week course must be supplemented by at least 5 hours of optional activities.
Add activities to your private English lessons
Several hours of activities with your teacher can be added to these class hours, and entrance fees and transportation are included in the prices.
- General activities (in 5-hour blocks). Examples of activities: cooking, going to the cinema, shopping, mini-golf, visiting local places, etc.).
- Cultural activities (3, 4, or 5 guided cultural visits per week). Examples of activities: Harbour Cruise, Wied iz-Zurrieq & Blue Grotto, Crafts Village, Visit to Mdina (old town), visit to Valletta (the capital), the prehistoric temples of Ħaġar Qim & Mnajdra, the towns of Vittoriosa, Senglea & Cospicua, the beaches and bays of Mellieha Bay, Golden Sands and Ghajn Tuffieha or Paradise Bay & Armier.
- Sports activities. Examples of sports activities: tennis (3 sessions), horse riding (3 sessions), scuba diving (2 x 2 dives), fishing (2 x 4 hours)
Are you more of an “outdoors” person?
Are you more into "learning by doing" than lectures? A "Lifestyle" option without lectures is also available for learners wishing to improve their English in a real-life situationEven though this program doesn't include any private lessons, you'll still progress very quickly thanks to language immersion Malta.
Other course options are also available for your stay with a private tutor in Malta: course only (without accommodation), special program for family, parents or friends .

Accommodation
Accommodation with your teacher
During your immersion stay with a private tutor in Malta, you will stay at your tutor's home!
This is an even more effective option than homestay accommodation, as it allows you to benefit from private lessons and build a closer relationship with your teacher. You'll see your English progress even faster. Our host families are all carefully selected to guarantee you an unforgettable stay.
Full board at your teacher's home
Most professors do not live in the city center but in the chosen region. You will be provided with full board accommodation.
Options
Several options are available during your stay with a teacher in Malta:
• Enhanced Supervision : This is a more intensive supervision option for our participants under 18. It guarantees that the teacher or an adult member of the host family will be present at the home for the entire duration of the participant's stay. This option does not replace or guarantee any activities. This option is mandatory for young people aged 12 and under. It is not available for bookings that include only private lessons or only accommodation.
• Private bathroom: if you would like to have a private bathroom. Option available depending on the destination.
• Specialized field : Do you want a teacher who knows your sector and masters the specific vocabulary? Do you want to prepare for particular exams? It's possible.
• Fast track : Completing a week's worth of course content in 2, 3, or 4 days entitles you to a 20% discount
Dates
Start dates of your stay with a private tutor in Malta
This stay is available all year round. Any booking including December 24, 25, 26 or 31 and/or January 1 will incur a supplement of 150 Euros per week .
From 1/01/2024, all courses are booked from Sunday to Saturday .
For bookings made in the summer:
We cannot guarantee your reservation if it is not made at least 1 to 2 months in advance.

Transfers
Young people aged 15 or younger must book their own round-trip transfers (unless their parents are going to drive them and pick them up).
Discounts available for your English immersion stay
- A 20% discount per participant is offered if two people take the same language course or activity (excluding sports options). You must have the same level in the chosen language and register for the same dates. You will also share the same room.
- Free transfers for stays of 4 weeks or more.
- 5% discount for people aged 60 or over on all stays.
