Since the opening of the family school in 1979 with 3 students, BEET Language Centre has continued to prove its success by growing, to become today a medium-sized school (average number of students: 200)

The school, a typical example of Victorian (and at the same time modernized) architecture, is located in a quiet residential area , just a 5-minute walk from the main street, Charminster Road, where there are many cafes, bars, restaurants, etc.

Standard English (minimum 1 week stay)

These courses have a basic program (either general English or IELTS exam preparation) of 20 lessons per week.

Option to take additional lessons

To this core curriculum, it is possible to add 4 or 8 additional lessons per week – these classes will take place every afternoon except Fridays. These additional lessons can be freely chosen from these options (4 lessons = 1 choice from the list, 8 lessons = 2 choices)

Speaking, pronunciation and listening;
Reading, writing and vocabulary;
Business English (from B1 level);
IELTS preparation*;
Cambridge preparation

*Regarding the IELTS , it is therefore possible to prepare for it in two different ways: either in a common core of 20 hours per week, or in additional lessons to the common core of general English (at a rate of 4 hours per week).

Accommodation

The preferred option for your English courses in Bournemouth

Host family accommodation

Most students attending courses at this school stay with local host families. This is generally the preferred option, as it provides many more opportunities to practice the language in a natural setting. At the same time, it guarantees direct experience of the cultural and social aspects of life in England.

There are also families who can host more than four students. This is a different arrangement, more accurately described as "private homes" because they don't necessarily guarantee much contact between families and students. This option is also very popular.

For the most independent

There is also the option of living in shared houses with other students. During the summer months, there are also apartments with private bathrooms.

It is also possible to find your own accommodation.
