This program, lasting from six months to two years, combines academic studies with optional practical work experience . You will alternate between periods of study and periods of paid (or unpaid, depending on your choice) work in your field of study, such as digital marketing, international business, tourism, or web development.

This program will enhance your CV by providing you with new skills, both technical and interpersonal, that are increasingly sought after by employers. You will also gain valuable international work experience and have the opportunity to develop a professional network. Furthermore, a significant portion of the program can be self-funded through student work undertaken during your studies and subsequent paid work experience.

Some sectors are open to individuals with prior academic experience who wish to enhance their skillset, requiring a higher level of English. Other programs are designed for those who have not yet entered the workforce or pursued university studies. Therefore, there are options tailored to different profiles, levels, and needs .

During the first part of the Canadian Work and Training program, you will take courses in your chosen field and receive a certificate or diploma, depending on the program's duration. The second part, which is optional, consists of initial work experience in your chosen field of study (see the “Work Experience” section). Here are the available options for professional training:

  • Customer service : 26 weeks without professional experience, 40 or 48 weeks with professional experience
  • Customer Service + Business Communication : 60 weeks with professional experience
  • Marketing & Sales : 52 weeks without professional experience, 54 or 92 weeks with professional experience
  • Business administration : 52 weeks without professional experience, 92 weeks with professional experience
  • Management & International Trade : 27 weeks without professional experience, 48 weeks with professional experience
  • Management & International Trade + Communications : 72 weeks with professional experience
  • Digital Marketing / UX / UI / Web Developer : 27 weeks without professional experience, 48 weeks with professional experience
  • Digital Marketing + Communications : 72 weeks with professional experience
  • Hospitality & Tourism : 27 weeks without professional experience, 48 or 72 weeks with professional experience
  • Hospitality & Tourism + Communications : 72 weeks with professional experience

During this training, you are authorized and encouraged to work up to 20 hours per week. During breaks and during your work experience, you can work full-time.

If your English level is not sufficient for the programs, the school regularly offers promotions for free on-site English courses before the start of the program or online courses to take before your departure.

Professional experience

You can supplement your chosen course of study, selected from the options listed in the “Professional Training” tab, with a professional experience, although this is not mandatory. If you choose this option, the diploma will only be awarded after you have completed your internship. This experience will allow you to acquire practical skills in your field of study, thus increasing your employability in the job market.

Accommodation

Our partner school offers several accommodation options during your training and work program in Canada:

Since this program lasts at least 7 months, we recommend booking accommodation only for the first few months. Afterwards, you can look for a shared apartment once you arrive, which will allow you to reduce your initial costs and save money.
