Fancy a working holiday in Australia ? Languages & Travel has developed, with the help of an Australian partner, a “ job assistance ” service that will facilitate your entry into the Australian job market under the Australian Working Holiday Visa .
Specifically, you arrive in Sydney (New South Wales) or Melbourne in Victoria (from June 2023) . job assistance office the day after your arrival (on a weekday) or whenever you wish, as part of your working holiday in Australia .
You will be assisted in your search for one or more student jobs in Australia thanks to the job bank developed for you and with the help of employment advisors.
And our partner helps you get up and running in the job market as quickly as possible : opening an Australian bank account, assistance in obtaining an Australian National Insurance number and a SIM card for your mobile phone. Not to mention the invaluable advice they'll provide.
Our partner will help you get your working holiday in Australia off to the best possible start. And the job assistance is valid for a year! You can also combine your working holiday program with English courses in Australia if you wish.
We guarantee the following services as part of our "working holiday Australia" package:
• Obtaining your Working Holiday Visa : If you prefer us to handle this for you because, for example, you are not yet fluent in English, you will need to provide us with a copy of your valid passport and proof of sufficient funds of €3000. You will also be asked to complete a questionnaire (which we will gladly provide).
• Booking your return flight (or one-way flight if you plan from the outset to extend your visa for a year directly after the first visa ) and your "Job assistance" package
• Advice on purchasing travel insurance through our partner

"Hi Maelle, I'm doing great, thank you so much! 🙂 It will soon be four months since I arrived in Australia. I spent a little over a month in Sydney where I did some work through your partner and also enjoyed the city and its surroundings. Then I spent about ten days in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast at Surfers Paradise. It was fantastic! For over two months now, I've been a supervisor on a strawberry farm north of Brisbane. I'm currently saving up to buy a vehicle, but prices are significantly higher than before COVID. After that, I'll be going on a road trip because I haven't yet explored the vast open spaces that Australian nature has to offer. Tip: You can try to plan your trip to get a first idea of what to discover and how much time to allocate to work, road trips, etc. But always keep in mind that our plans can change very quickly depending on our desires, the weather, and the people we meet. So much more to say, but don't worry, they'll discover everything on..." "Step out of your comfort zone!" If anyone has specific questions, please don't hesitate to contact me via email/Facebook/Messenger. Although I think they'll find answers to their questions in the many Facebook groups, online, and through your own knowledge! 🙂 Have a great day! 😉

"Hi, it's almost been a year since I returned from my first year in Australia, and I remember not having thanked you yet. Anyway, I just wanted to send you a big thank you! Have a wonderful day!"

"Hi Maelle, Everything is going wonderfully. The hostel days were a bit complicated for me. At least the first two days, because I was really worried about the language barrier, but in the end everyone here is understanding and lets me take my time. The accommodation is great, a bit far from the center, but the public transport is super efficient, so it's really easy to get around. The classes are going well too. My teacher is really dynamic. (It's a change from what I experienced in Belgium). I thought 4 hours would be long, but in the end, it goes by quite quickly. Yes, I went to see the job assistance; they mainly explained things to me and gave me advice. For now, I'm in contact with someone at DHL; I think I'll go work there at least long enough to secure a couple of months of financial security. After that, I hope to find something near the beach for the upcoming summer or move to Melbourne to explore other horizons." Have a good day!"

"Yes, great, I've had good contact with our friends at the job assistance center. They're really attentive and helpful with all the administrative procedures and finding work. Things are going well at the hostel too, apart from a minor mishap I had the other day. I've met quite a few new people, mainly English speakers and locals, although there's a large German and French community in the hostel."

"What a wonderful reunion, filled with emotion, tears, and joy! I can still feel it... Nine months is a very long time... for a mom and dad. A thousand thanks again for your availability and professionalism. Martin had a fabulous adventure that he will never forget!!!! And he's coming back with English! Thank you for the certificate; I wish you all the best and continued success."
