Want to work on a ranch abroad? Have you always dreamed of adventure and wide open spaces? Perhaps you enjoy horseback riding? Do you long to spend time on a ranch after high school or university? Languages & Travel offers you the chance to experience this adventure through its local partners and their ranch stays!
Ranch stays: a taste of adventure!
Languages & Travel offers you a choice of three countries: Australia, the United States, or Ireland. You'll stay on a ranch (or with a family who owns horses) for the duration of your stay and participate in daily ranch life. You'll receive at least room and board as compensation for your help with ranch work.
Also, these ranch stays can usually be combined with English courses, a classic job assistance (Australia and Canada).
Ranch in Australia
Your ranch stay in Australia will begin with a weekend at Noosa You'll spend time in Queensland recovering from jet lag. Then, it's off to a ranch where you'll receive five days of training. If you successfully complete the training, our partner will arrange your next job based on your skills and preferences. Our partner guarantees three placements during your stay, provided you receive positive recommendations from your previous employer each time. All jobs are paid. Please note that accommodation and food expenses may be deducted from your pay.
Family holiday with horses in Ireland or England + horse riding
In Ireland, we offer homestays with families who own horses , often families with a stud farm or riding school. Please note that this option is available with or without English lessons. Another very popular option is English lessons combined with riding lessons at a riding school, or riding lessons at a riding school without English lessons.
Ranch in the USA
Have you always dreamed of a ranch stay in the USA and do you love animals? Then this trip is for you. We offer you the chance to participate in the activities of an American ranch during a stay of 2 to 4 weeks. A ranch in the United States doesn't necessarily mean you'll be riding horses.
In summary, working on a ranch abroad will not only allow you to have an extraordinary experience but also to practice your English in the field.
